Responsibilities
- Support the development of OHS policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessment and enforcement preventive measures
- Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
- Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and management
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity
- Incident and accident reporting
Requirements
- Degree in Safety, health and Environment or equivalent
- At least 1-year work experience
- Experience in the mining industry is an added advantage
- Self-driven and result oriented
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Analytical problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Numerical reasoning
