Responsibilities

  • Support the development of OHS policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessment and enforcement preventive measures
  • Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
  • Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and management
  • Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity
  • Incident and accident reporting

Requirements

  • Degree in Safety, health and Environment or equivalent
  • At least 1-year work experience
  • Experience in the mining industry is an added advantage
  • Self-driven and result oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Numerical reasoning
